Chiropractic doesn't mask the pain with drugs - chiropractic gets to the cause of the pain, and if possible, works with you to remedy it, so you can get back to your active life! DR. STEVEN HENDERSON, D.C., CCSP and Owner

Dr. Henderson performed his undergrad study at the University of Alaska Anchorage and went on to become a doctor of chiropractic medicine through the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He received his doctor of chiropractic degree in the fall of 1988. Skilled in many techniques of chiropractic Dr. Henderson has mastered the skill in the Thompson technique and manipulation of the extremities.  While studying at Palmer Chiropractic College he taught Thompson technique to other students there. As a member of the American Chiropractic Association and Alaska Chiropractic Society he continues to further his education in the chiropractic field. Part of his course studies and interests have taken him to be a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) through Western States Chiropractic College of Oregon and study whiplash injuries through the Spine Research Institute of San Diego by Dr. Arthur C. Croft Ph.D., D.C., M.Sc., M.P.H., F.A.C.O. Introduced to chiropractic medicine in the early 80s as a patient, Dr. Henderson understands the experience of pain and discomfort and prides himself on the proficient care he provides. He loves what he does and where he lives. Dr. Henderson is a lifelong Alaskan. He's been married to his wife Susan for 40+ years and they have 6 wonderful children and 17 grand children.

Angelique Conrad is a nationally certified Licensed Massage Therapist with over 20 years of experience in medical and therapeutic massage. Raised in Alaska, she brings a patient-centered, results-driven approach to care that complements chiropractic treatment and supports whole-body healing.

Angelique’s care style is eclectic and individualized, drawing from techniques such as myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, trigger point work, lymphatic drainage, acutherapy, KT taping, and visceral manipulation. She takes time to listen, educate, and tailor each session to meet the unique needs of every patient.

She enjoys working with patients of all ages—including children, pregnant patients, athletes, and seniors—and finds the greatest reward in seeing patients heal, function better, and confidently refer loved ones.

Outside the clinic, Angelique enjoys spending time with her grandson, creating art, volunteering in the community, and cooking at home. She is also the great-niece of Elizabeth Peratrovich and has played a key role in advancing massage therapy licensure in Alaska.

Jada Humphrey, LMT

Jada Humphrey is a Licensed Massage Therapist at Frontier Chiropractic with nearly 20 years of experience in healthcare. Originally from Fairbanks, Alaska, she began her career as a CNA and in EMS before a personal medical experience led her toward holistic care and the powerful role of massage and chiropractic in healing.

Jada’s care style is patient-focused and results-driven. She is known for listening closely, paying attention to how patients move, and tailoring each session to meet individual needs. Her approach combines a welcoming, small-town feel with skilled deep tissue work to help patients find real relief.

She commonly uses techniques such as contract-relax, cupping, PNF, and trigger point therapy, and enjoys working with athletes, military and EMS personnel, teachers, and blue-collar workers. Jada values community, family, and helping people improve their quality of life—making Frontier Chiropractic feel like home .When she’s not working, Jada enjoys spending time with her grandson, soaking in Alaska’s mountain views, and staying involved as a community activist. Her favorite “local” food spot? Her daughter’s kitchen.
